Sacramento, CA – Sacramento County crash results in multiple injuries, including two children
SACRAMENTO, CA – A three-vehicle crash in the River Delta Fire District resulted in six injuries. Two children under the age of 13 were injured in the crash.
According to the Chief of the River Delta Fire District, Paul Cutino, five people were transported via ambulance to the hospital and one individual was airlifted. The accident happened just before 4 p.m. on Highway 12 near Terminus Road on Saturday. It happened near Rio Vista.
Roads were reopened shortly after 6 p.m.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, Cutino said. At this time, the cause of the accident is unknown.
