Fresno, CA – A deadly hit-and-run suspect is sought by police

FRESNO, CA – Police released new information Friday after a man was killed by a hit-and-run driver early Monday in central Fresno.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 60-year-old Dale Black of Fresno.  Police in Fresno say the accident took place around 1:40 a.m. west of Parkview Drive on Belmont Avenue. It was reported that the driver fled the scene eastbound on Belmont Avenue without stopping.

The vehicle will have significant damage to the front grill, passenger side headlamp, and the surrounding area. The passenger side mirror cover will also be missing.
