Fresno, CA – CHP: Accident leads to vehicle rolling into canal
FRESNO, CA – According to California Highway Patrol officials, several people were pinned in vehicles after a collision caused one of the vehicles involved to roll over into a canal.
A vehicle with a lone occupant was traveling north on Goldenrod Avenue and did not stop at the intersection with Belmont Avenue, according to CHP officials.
Police say the northbound vehicle collided with an SUV traveling west on Belmont. During the collision, the SUV rolled over into a nearby canal. As a result of the collision, several people were trapped in vehicles.
Investigators have said they do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved in this incident, which caused moderate to mild injuries.
