Shaver Lake, CA – Officer killed while riding bike near Shaver Lake
SHAVER LAKE, CA – According to the Fresno Police Department, a Fresno police officer was killed in a crash on Saturday morning while riding his bike.
After an accident near Shaver Lake on Saturday, officers announced the death of Officer Steve Hunt. Since 1989, Officer Hunt had served with the Fresno Police Department. Police officials described Officer Hunt as a passionate and dedicated officer.
“The family, the department, and the community he so proudly served will miss Steve,” wrote Fresno Police Chief Paco Balderrama in a statement.
