Merced, CA – An impaired driver flips a vehicle in Merced while a toddler is inside, police report
MERCED. CA – The Merced Police Department claims that a lady who crashed and overturned her car over the weekend with a toddler was inside was operating it while intoxicated. Police reported that 22-year-old Alexandra Ramirez crashed into a tree on Friday night near 21st Street and Weston Way after falling asleep behind the wheel.
According to officials, Ramirez’s car overturned after hitting the tree and came to rest on the roof. Her was unlawfully restraining a two-year-old child at the time of the collision. The kid didn’t sustain any major wounds.
Ramirez was taken into custody and lodged in a jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, criminal child endangerment, and DUI causing harm.
