Hanford, CA – CHP says 2 people were killed in a fiery crash in Kings County
HANFORD, CA – According to the California Highway Patrol, two persons have died as a result of a two-vehicle car accident that occurred on Tuesday night. A head-on incident involving two vehicles was reported at 6:53 p.m. on 10th Ave., south of Niles Ave., close to the Corcoran neighborhood, according to CHP The CHP reports that as they were conducting their investigation, a Ford was traveling northbound on 10th Ave at an unknown speed, while a Toyota was traveling south.
It was obvious that the two automobiles collided head-on. According to authorities, the Ford overturned on its passenger side and caught fire as a result of the collision, which caused the Toyota to halt on the shoulder of SB 10th Ave.
Officials claim that two motorists who were near the accident stopped to help the person trapped in the Ford that was engulfed in flames. The Ford’s driver passed away shortly after arriving at CRMC, while the Toyota’s driver passed away at the site from their injuries.
It is still unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in this collision.
