Bakersfield, CA – Woman Killed in Truck Crash on Taft Hwy near Old River Rd
Bakersfield, CA (June 9, 2021) – A woman lost her life in a traffic accident involving a semi on a highway in Bakersfield on Tuesday, June 8. According to officials, the incident occurred at approximately 1:56 p.m.
Information from reports shows that the wreck occurred on the Taft Highway near Old River Road when a woman driving a pickup truck headed north on Old River Road veered onto Taft Highway for an unknown reason.
A semi was traveling east on the highway when it collided with her truck. The woman lost her life in the collision, while her passenger was injured and hospitalized shortly after the wreck occurred.
