Antioch, CA – Hwy 4 Car Accident at Lone Tree Ramp Injures Two Victims
Antioch, CA (September 18, 2021) – A crash on the eastbound side of Highway 4, just north of the Lone Tree on-ramp, in Antioch sent at least one person to an area medical center early Saturday morning, September 18, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Initial reports released by CHP troopers indicated that a car drove off the right shoulder and hit a guardrail around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. A CHP spokesman said that one or two people were transported to John Muir Medical Center with moderate injuries.
It’s unclear if any other vehicles or injuries were involved, though CHP troopers continued to collect evidence at the scene of the wreck into the late morning hours.
Authorities in Antioch continue to investigate and have not released further details.
