Fresno, CA – Woman Killed After Pedestrian Accident on E McKinley Ave & N Maple Ave
Fresno, CA (December 10, 2021) – A fatal pedestrian accident was reported to officials in Fresno at about 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8. The wreck took place at the intersection of East McKinley Avenue and North Maple Avenue, according to information from reports.
Initial investigations revealed that the deadly crash occurred when a westbound SUV struck a female pedestrian while she was crossing the roadway. Upon their arrival at the scene, paramedics transported to the victim to Community Regional Medical Center where she later lost her life.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. The deceased was identified as a female in her early 30s. Her name has not been released at this time.
Police in Fresno continue to investigate.
