Apple Valley, CA – Two Teens Killed in Rollover Accident on I-15 at Wild Wash Rd
Apple Valley, CA (January 23, 2022) – Two 17-year-olds from Victorville were killed during a single-vehicle rollover on Friday, January 21st in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15.
The crash occurred at about 8:25 p.m. neat Wild Wash Road in Apple Valley when a BMW left the right hand side of the roadway due to a tire coming off of the vehicle. When the BMW overturned, one passenger was ejected and another was pinned inside.
According to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office, the driver, a 17-year-old boy from Victorville, died at the scene.
A Mercy Air helicopter landed on the I-15 to airlift the critically injured passenger. The request was canceled, however, and the teen was taken by ambulance to Victor Valley Global Medical Center where he also passed away.
The third occupant of the vehicle was unharmed during the accident and refused medical transportation.
