Sacramento, CA – A head-on collision on the Belt Highway killed a woman
Sacramento, CA (January 15, 2022) – On Friday evening, a woman was killed in a two-vehicle rollover crash on South Belt Highway near Sacramento Street.
Around 8 p.m., a man driving a truck in the opposite direction collided with a woman’s Jeep traveling East on the Belt when he collided with her vehicle head-on, St. Joseph police reported.
According to police, the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time. Charges are expected to be filed against him.
According to police, the man also suffered a minor leg injury.
Police have not released the woman’s identity or the ages of the two drivers.
