Fallbrook, CA – On Saturday, a 59-year-old Fallbrook man was killed when his vehicle plunged off I-15
FALLBROOK, CA (February 11, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a 59-year-old Fallbrook man died when his SUV went off Interstate 15 and down a cliff early Saturday evening.
Approximately 5:50 p.m. the crash was reported near Mission Road, according to the CHP log.
Officer Hunter Gerber said the man was driving south on I-15 in a Chevrolet Equinox when he veered from the traffic lanes and went off the road and down an embankment.
Despite CHP officers and paramedics’ efforts, the man died before he could be transported to a hospital. His name has not been released.
