VISALIA, CA (February 10, 2022) – According to Visalia police officers, a pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday night.
Around 7:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle west of Ben Maddox Way on Walnut Avenue in an area without street lights.
Authorities said the victim was taken to a local hospital, where they later died. Authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident.
