FRESNO, CA – The California Highway Patrol says a mail truck drove off Highway 41 on Thursday evening and rolled down the embankment into Fresno streets.
Around 8 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received a call about a two-vehicle accident with a mail truck falling down the embankment.
Another vehicle became disabled and partially blocked the slow lane, according to officers. While trying to serve out of the way, the mail truck driver lost control and crashed into the disabled vehicle, went through the guardrail, and rolled down the embankment. It landed on its side near Normal Avenue and Fresno Street. Alcohol and drugs were not involved in the incident, and no injuries were reported.
