Truckee, CA – Several people are injured in a semi-truck pileup crash on the 80 Freeway
TRUCKEE, CA – On Wednesday morning, two persons were hurt in a semi-truck pileup accident near Gold Ranch Road on the 80 Freeway.
The multi-vehicle collision, according to the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District, took place at 5:30 in the morning. When they arrived, fire personnel discovered a collision involving six semi-trucks and one passenger car close to Verdi, Nevada.
Snow was snowing at the time of the collision, and the roadways were icy and slippery.
Two people suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. This accident is still under investigation.
