Stockton, CA – Two Hospitalized after Crash with Fire Truck on Pershing Ave & W March Ln
Stockton, CA (August 2, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after their involvement in an accident on Monday morning in Stockton. The wreck was reported just after 2:00 a.m. on the morning of August 1.
According to reports, the collision took place on Pershing Avenue and West March Lane when a firetruck and a car were involved in a crash at the intersection. The firetruck was responding to a structure fire in the area at the time.
Responders were dispatched to the scene in order to assist those involved. Two people sustained injuries and were sent to the hospital, according to information from officials.
The tiller on the trailer of the truck was ripped off with the driver inside and collided with a nearby real estate office. A spokesperson stated that the firefighter was in surgery after suffering from a broken femur and a bruised spleen.
