Oakdale, CA – Fatal Traffic Accident on N Oak Ave near Saint Mary’s Catholic Church
Oakdale, CA (December 22, 2021) – Officers with the Oakdale Police Department reported a fatal car wreck that happened on North Oak Avenue on the night of Saturday, December 18. Authorities and paramedics were dispatched to the scene in the 200 block of North Oak Avenue just before 12:00 a.m.
Information provided by officials states that an 18-year-old male reportedly fell from a moving truck near Saint Mary’s Catholic Church. Preliminary investigations show that he was the front passenger in the vehicle at the time. Paramedics performed life-saving measures on the man at the crash scene, however, he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
His name has not been released as police are still working to notify his next-of-kin. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is currently ongoing.
